ITAC Correction Notice: Safeguard Investigation Tariff Subheadings for Cold-Rolled Steel Imports into SACU
ITAC has published Notice 4048 of 2026 correcting the tariff subheadings in its safeguard investigation into increased imports of cold-rolled flat-rolled products of iron, non-alloy steel or other alloy steel into the SACU market. The correction amends the original Notice 4016 of 2026 (Gazette 54970, 10 July 2026) by listing the correct tariff subheadings — 7209.15, 7209.16, 7209.17, 7209.18, 7209.25, 7209.26, 7209.27, 7209.28, 7209.90, 7211.23, 7211.29, 7211.90, and 7225.50 — which define the scope of products under investigation. The 20-day response deadline runs from the original 10 July publication date, placing it at approximately 30 July 2026, just days away.
